THE CALLING OF THE LAKE
CHAPTER I: HYMN
“On the blue summer evenings, I will go along the paths,
And walk over the short grass, as I am pricked by the wheat:
Daydreaming I will feel the coolness on my feet.
I will let the wind bathe my bare head. I will not speak,
I will have no thoughts: But infinite love will mount in my soul;
And I will go far, far off, like a gypsy,
through the countryside – as happy as if I were with a woman.”
Hymn to turquoise water, new grass, the sun and bare feet.
Hymn to what becomes lush, rich and green with a thousand shades.
Hymn to the wind, the sun and the Nature that invites you to wander.
Hymn to the lake and its Call that smells of freshness, of freedom, of Life.
All this is contained in this small collection of just two outfits. Two fully interchangeable, practical separates in natural materials and 100% derived from vegetable fibres: cotton jacquard, viscose jersey, cotton gauze.
The trousers are wide, soft and comfortable, designed for running, dancing and riding “over the short grass, as I am pricked by the wheat...”
